InteliScope – Picatinny Rail Mount for iDevices

InteliScope has a product that might interest iPhone/iPod users: a picatinny mount for their iDevice that also incorporates an app for filming and ballistics information. Now I happen to have both an iPhone and iPod, but I don’t know if I’d trust this in paintball. I’d be too scared of the screen taking a shot, but it’s still a neat idea for firearms for those without helmet cameras or as a ballistics calculator.

Hustle Paintball Reviews LAPCO FSR Barrel

Hustle Paintball just recently reviewed the LAPCO FSR Barrel, and as they demonstrated it does in fact give quite an increase in precision of the First Strikes. This could make First Strike users that much more deadly out on the field.

Photos from Yankee Paintball’s Gravity League Pump Tournament

Another fun event I was lucky enough to catch and photograph. Players had to practice some serious shot-discipline having only 40 rounds per game. Owner and ref, Eric Schreiber did a great job overseeing the event, all while hobbling on a bad ankle.

And best of all, there was plenty of bacon!  = )

Photos from Hogan’s Alley 3-man Tournament

Hat’s off to the guys at Hogan’s Alley Paintball in Meriden, CT and their organization and officiating a 3-man tournament this past weekend (04-28-2013). The refs were on top of matters and the games went smoothly and quick. To view all the photos from this and other events, checkout out events photo section. These are the rough, low-res edits meant for web viewing. If you see anything you’d like, all are available to purchase with professional retouching. Proceeds go toward supporting the blog.
